About Gatangu Waterfall Chase & Bamboo Trek
Life is like a waterfall always moving. So we are here at Divulge Adventures, The Big Family of outdoor Lovers, Lets go outdoors, Lets Go Hiking.
Next on, we head out to Nyeri County for Waterfall chase at Gatangu Waterfalls and yet again Forest bathing Trek through the bamboo Forest of Gatangu. The Hike starts at Mucharage then we trek, through rehabilitated forest towards Murang’a county boundary. Then through bamboo vegetation’s to the waterfall. This is a #moderate_hike which is about 16 km and about 7 hrs to tackle trekking on a moderate pace
As always on finishing our Hospitality Team will be waiting to quench and satisfy our tired selves with sumptuous Buffet Lunch
What to wear and items to carry:-
Comfortable running shoes or Waterproof hiking boot preferred
Hiking/gym pants (avoid jeans & Shorts)
Polyester T-shirt (like the football jerseys) carry an extra one to change after the hike
Head Torch
Sunglasses
Hat/cap
Camera/power bank
Binoculars
Drinking water
Sun screen or (Kenyas Favorite, Arimis)
Snacks / energy bars to sustain during the trek
Poncho or a light Rain Jacket
Finally carry loads fun & Spirit of adventure with you and tag along with a friend!!
