3 Great Days & 2 Memorable Nights Masai Mara Safari From Nairobi
The Great Migration is a must-see safari attraction. Every year, two million wildebeest, zebra, and other herbivores migrate from the southern Serengeti to the lush green grasslands of Masai Mara, one of the world's seven wonders. The big migration is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see wild animals up close and personal. From July through September, you'll have more luck with this. Hundreds of millions of animals cross the Mara River in search of food and to reproduce as wildebeests. In Tanzania, however, the rainy season begins in October, and millions of wildebeests start to return to the Serengeti. We can't help but be awestruck by this extraordinary occurrence. The Great Migration is a remarkable exhibition of animal cooperation, as hundreds of thousands of animals migrate together in search of food, shelter, and, occasionally, love.
