Standing majestically at 19,341 feet(5895m), Mt. Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa. It is an unforgettable experience to undertake the Mt Kilimanjaro hike and even more extraordinary to reach its peak. The trek is a challenge for many outdoor lovers especially the Marangu route also known as the Coca-Cola route which is the oldest trail for scaling Mt Kilimanjaro. Most climbers try to complete it in five days, although spending an extra acclimatization day on the mountain is highly recommended. The Marangu route is convenient for accommodations as it's the only route that provides overnight stays in dormitory-style huts.
