7 Days Mt Kilimanjaro Hike, Marangu Route

The Marangu route is popularly known as the "Coca-Cola" route! It is one of the oldest trails for scaling Mt Kilimanjaro, approaching it from the southeast. Despite being one of the most scenic routes, its primary claim to fame lies in being the easiest route on the summit. Most climbers try to complete it in five days, although spending an extra acclimatization day on the mountain is highly recommended to maximize chances of success. An additional point in favor of Marangu is its convenient accommodations: it's the only route that provides overnight stays in dormitory-style huts, making your adventure feel more like a comfortable retreat.
