6 Days Kenya Classic Great Wildebeests Migration Safari 

A 6-day safari to Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Masai Mara National Reserve is a fantastic way to experience the diversity of Kenya’s wildlife, landscapes, and The Great Migration.  At Amboseli National Park, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro while observing large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. The park is also home to predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. At Lake Nakuru National Park, visitors can spot rhinos, buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, flamingos, and other water birds. The park also boasts stunning views of the lake and surrounding hills. Masai Mara provides the opportunity to witness one of the world's wonders, the great migration of wildebeests and zebras, as they cross the Mara River from Serengeti National Park. Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

On arrival at the airport, you will be met by our representative for briefing and be introduced to your safari driver guides. Afterward, you will depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park at approximately 3 Hrs. drive. This secured wildlife sanctuary is famously known for the large herds of elephants and the Mt Kilimanjaro view as the backdrop. Amboseli National Park is also home to Lions, cheetahs, Buffaloes, and Fearless Hippos, which are seen grazing even in the daytime. You will arrive at the camp/lodge around lunchtime for check-in, followed afternoon siesta. Later have the evening game drive before returning for dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park – Lake Nakuru National Park

Early morning breakfast will be served. Leave for a morning game drive at Amboseli National Park, en route to Lake Nakuru National Park with a stopover at Rift Valley View Point, an approximately  6-hour drive. The morning game drive gives us a clear view of Mt Kilimanjaro from the park, the big hunting cats, and later, the exit for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving around lunchtime and checking in at the lodge/camp. Lake Nakuru National Park houses endangered species like the Black and White rhino and Rothschild giraffe. Other more common species are leopards, lions, and buffaloes. The park is called a bird's paradise, home to Greater and Lesser Flamingoes and over 450 bird species. Later you will have the evening game drive before returning for dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara National Reserve

You will have breakfast, check out, and go for a morning game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park and exit the park to Masai Mara National Reserve for approximately 4 ½ Hrs. drive. You will arrive at Masai Mara National Reserve around lunchtime and check in at the camp or lodge, followed by an afternoon siesta. Later optional evening game drive to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve, looking out for the big cats who tend to come out for hunting around this time of the day. Later return to the camp for dinner and Overnight at the camp/lodge.

Day 4 & 5: Full Days at Masai Mara National Reserve

You will have two full days at Maasai Mara National Reserve for game viewing during your stay. This allows you a chance to explore this wonderful reserve thoroughly while you're here. Elephants, giraffes, lion prides, thousands of impalas, topi, grants, Thomson's gazelles, and different bird species could all be seen. Being the great wildebeest migration period, IF LUCKY, you will have the golden moment to witness these beautiful creatures cross the Mara River, which is one of the epic sightings. The great wildebeest migration comes along with millions of wildlife. It makes the Masai Mara National Reserve a must-visit destination, as it turns to the home of actions, including big cats hunting and wildebeests crossing the river of death, The Mara River, which is home to giant Crocodiles and Hippos. So, carry your amazing phone or camera to capture these wonderful moments. You will have bush breakfast and picnic lunch served in the vast plains of Maasai Mara National Reserve. You can also visit Maasai Village, dance with Maasai Warriors, and see how they make fire naturally. In addition, optional balloon safari over the Masai Mara National Reserve, which overs you a magnificent aerial view of the entire Masai Mara Reserve and the meandering Mara River from above.

Day 6: Masai Mara National Park – Nairobi City.

After breakfast, you will check out and enjoy your last en-route game drive at Masai Mara to Nairobi, approximately 5 ½ Hrs. drive. Drop off at your preferred Nairobi Hotel or Airport.
