Lake Nakuru National Park is known as an ornithological paradise by bird-watchers because the lake is world famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth, which boasts anywhere between one and two million lesser and greater pink flamingos that feed on the abundant algae thriving in the lake's warm waters. A day trip to Lake Nakuru National Park offers a worthwhile wildlife experience. The Park boasts a large population of rhinos, Lion, Giraffe, Buffalo, Leopard, Waterbuck, and many other game species.

In addition, the highlight of Lake Nakuru is its mass of Greater and Lessor Flamingo, which can be found feeding in the lake's shallows. Itinerary

Depart Nairobi for Nakuru

You will be met by our designated tour guide and driver, who will pick you up from the hotel/desired pick-up point. You will then proceed with a 3 and 1/2 hours drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Lake Nakuru National Park Game Drive
Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park and proceed for a game drive. Later, you will take your lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge, after which you will proceed with an afternoon game drive enroute to Nairobi.

Depart Nakuru for Nairobi
After completing the game drive, you will depart for Nairobi, and upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your desired point.
