Itinerary

DAY 1:   Kampala- Queen Elizabeth National Park

Our representative will be there to meet and greet you when you land in Kampala. Take a westward route through the Ankole highlands. After taking some pictures at the equator, continue on to Mbarara Town for lunch. Before you reach the resort, take a wildlife drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. After unwinding, set out on a nighttime game drive to see the park's animals and avian residents. Having supper and staying the night at the Lodge.

DAY 2:   Queen Elizabeth National Park

Get some early morning game viewing in. Wild animals like elephants, lions, buffalo, and bushbuck roam the park's grassy plains, tropical forests, rivers, marshes, lakes, and volcanic craters. Get back to the lodge as late as possible for breakfast and leisure. After lunch, set out for a boat ride through the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lakes George and Edward. This is a true heaven for birdwatchers since you can see a great variety of migratory and resident waterbirds, including hippos, from the boat. It is a magnificent sight to see several buffalo relaxing in the water of the Channel as large herds of elephants drink and play on the banks. Having supper and staying the night in the lodge.

DAY 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Chimpanzee tracking in the tropical Kyambura gorge awaits you after breakfast. It requires physical fitness because of the climbing involved. You'll frequently see birds and butterflies. The best way to see the tree-climbing lions is to leave the park via Ishasha in the southern part of the park and head to Bwindi. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

DAY 4: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

The forest is most beautiful and refreshing first thing in the morning, so wake up early and enjoy it by heading there after breakfast. More than half of the world's mountain Gorillas reside there. After getting a briefing from the guides, we'll head out for a full day into the jungle to look for gorillas. Later dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

DAY 5: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Kampala

Leave Bwindi for Kampala after breakfast, stopping for lunch in Mbarara. Drive to the terminal to catch your flight and say goodbye to Uganda.
