Tsavo East National Park is one of Kenya's oldest and largest parks. If you are looking for a slightly more remote yet still scenic experience, Tsavo East is a perfect choice. Less popular with tourists and offers an authentic Kenyan feel that is not accessible anywhere else in Kenya. Tsavo West National Park is one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. Visitors to Tsavo West can explore the park on a game drive, seeing some of the region's most iconic wildlife up close. In addition to game drives, Tsavo West National Park also offers safari walks and bird-watching tours. With its stunning scenery and abundant wildlife, Tsavo West National Park is an unforgettable destination for any traveller.

Day 1: Depart Nairobi for Tsavo West National Park

You will be picked up at the airport or your Nairobi hotel and briefed about your safari. You will then depart for Taita Hills Resort and Spa in Tsavo West National Park, where you will have lunch after checking in. 

You will have an afternoon siesta, then proceed for an evening game drive to see the various wildlife species in their natural environment. You will later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. 

Day 2: Full-day game drive at Tsavo West National Park

You will wake up and have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your morning game drive, during which you will see a variety of wildlife species, including elephantsrhinos, buffalos, and giraffes, among others.

After your morning game drive, you will have your packed picnic lunch in the park in the afternoon, then continue with the game drive to Mzima Springs, where you'll see hippos, crocodiles, and monkeys in the trees. After your evening game drive, you will be driven back to the lodge, where you will be served dinner and spend the night at Taita Hills Resort and Spa.

Day 3: Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park

Breakfast will be served, and you will check out of your room at Taita Hills Resort and Spa. You will then take an en-route game drive and see various wildlife species as you travel to Tsavo East National Park to engage in other wildlife-viewing activities.

When you arrive in Tsavo East National Park, you will check in at Sentrim Tsavo Camp and have lunch. Later, you will go on an evening game drive through the national park, where you will see red elephants, which are famous in this national park, zebras, giraffes, buffalos, antelopes, and bird species, among others. You will be driven back to your lodge as the sun sets over the savannah plains for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full Day Game drive at Tsavo East National Park

A full day of exploring at Tsavo East National Park begins with breakfast at the lodge as you prepare for your morning game drive to see the big cats as they hunt and roam the national park plains. This will be accompanied by having packed lunch from the lodge. During the game drive, you will visit other attractions around the national park, such as River Galana and the yatta plateau. 

You will be driven back to the lodge while looking for more wildlife and bird species in the national park's savannah and watching the sunset. Dinner and overnight will be at Sentrim Tsavo Camp, as they were the day before.

Day 5: Depart Tsavo East National Park to Nairobi

You will have breakfast before checking out and then drive through the park as you enjoy the scenery and wildlife sightings on your return journey to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at your preferred location, bringing your safari to a close with memorable experiences.
