Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Upon arrival at Arusha
Airport, you will be met by our representative for briefing and be introduced
to your safari driver guide. Afterward, set out to Tarangire National Park for
a game drive and a picnic lunch. Tarangire is best known for its massive elephant
population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migration that
includes thousands of elephants, wildebeest, and zebras. Later in the evening,
head to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After an early morning game
drive at Tarangire National Park, return to the camp for breakfast ana later
check out. Later, transfer to Serengeti National Park. Arrive at around lunch
time, check in for lunch, followed by afternoon siesta. Later, in the afternoon
set out for the evening game drive at the Tanzania’s most prominent national
park, Serengeti. There is good resident game throughout the year, especially
zebras, wildebeest, impalas, giraffes and elephants. The Serengeti National Park
hosts the largest terrestrial mammal migration in the world, standing out as
one of the eight wonders of the world.

Day 3: Serengeti
National Park Full Day
The Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife
sanctuary in the world, unequaled for its natural beauty and scientific value.
With more than two million wildebeests, half a million Thomson's gazelles, and
a quarter million zebras, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in
Africa. The wildebeest and zebra, moreover, form the star cast of a unique
spectacular - the annual Serengeti migration. The name 'Serengeti' comes from
the Maasai language and appropriately means an 'extended place.' The National
Park, with an area of 12,950 square kilometers, is as big as Northern Ireland.
Still, its ecosystem, which includes the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the
Maswa Game Reserve, and the Maasai Mara Game reserve (in Kenya), is roughly the
size of Kuwait. It lies between the shores of Lake Victoria in the west, Lake
Eyasi in the south, and the Great Rift Valley to the east. As such, it offers
the most complex and least disturbed ecosystem on earth.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
After morning breakfast, en
route Game drive at Serengeti National Park as you head to Ngorongoro via Ol-Duvai
Gorge. Arriving at around lunch time, check in for lunch, followed by afternoon
siesta. Later, in the afternoon set out for the evening game drive at the Ngorongoro
Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th
Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main draw card for
tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. Within the crater
rim, large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze
in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of
the crater forests after grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist. Just
outside the crater’s ridge, tall Masai herds their cattle and goats over green
pastures through the highland slopes, living alongside the wildlife as they
have for centuries. After game drive, return to the camp/lodge for dinner and
overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Eyasi - Arusha
After breakfast, set out for
a morning game drive enroute to Lake Eyasi. Visit Hazabe Bush Men at Lake Eyasi
after breakfast. Today we meet the Bushmen, a tribal people who still use bow
and arrow to hunt and harvest their diet of tubers, roots, and wild fruits from
the earth, just like our forebears did in the Stone Age. Here, we may see their
way of life for ourselves, and later in the evening, head to Arusha city for
accommodation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 6: Arusha - Zanzibar
After morning breakfast in
your hotel at Arusha, you will be transferred to the airport, where you will
board your flight to Zanzibar. You will take these three days off to decompress
from the long excursions. At a Beach Hotel in Zanzibar, you will be welcomed by
a blaze of color as you sweep down the imposing runway, saluted by the warm
staff members on your arrival as you pass, our representative will warmly meet
and greet you and make the transfer to your hotel. Welcome to the blue sea and
white sandy beach of the Indian ocean in Zanzibar, and enjoy your night right
by the seaside in Zanzibar beach. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7, 8 and 9: Zanzibar
After long journeys of game
drives, you will take this opportunity relax and unwind by the blue waters and
sandy beaches of Zanzibar. For these three days you will get to explore stone
town and Prison Island, Mnemba Island tour, and spice farm. Excursions will be
limited so as to ensure you have luxurious experience of our Zanzibar stay and
the beaches.

Day 10: Diani - Nairobi
After
breakfast, you will be transferred to Zanzibar International Airport for your
return journey as you bid Tanzania and Zanzibar goodbye.
