Open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and the renowned baobab trees define Tarangire's scenery. The park is well-known for its massive elephant population, one of Africa's most significant. The Ngorongoro Crater is the product of a collapsed volcano that generated a massive crater about two million years ago. The crater is roughly 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) across and 600 meters (1,970 feet) deep. It creates a natural cage for diverse wildlife by providing a unique ecology.

Itinerary
Day 1; Arusha -Tarangire National Park.
Depart Arusha at 07:00 hours for Tarangire National Park (total size of 2850km2/ elevation 900m-1100m above sea level). After a game drive with a picnic lunch at a picnic location, travel up to Mto wa Mbu and check in at Motto Cottages for dinner and stay
Day 2; Mto wa Mbu Ngorongoro crater.
Breakfast at the lodge, then travel to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 610m from the crater rim to the crater floor for a wildlife drive till 4 pm, then ascend from the crater and drive back to Dar es Salaam, dropping off at the airport or hotel.
