3 Day Lewa Fly-in Safari

3 Days

This Lewa fly-in safari takes you to one of Kenya’s great rhino strongholds, below Mount Kenya, for game drives, bush walks and night drives.

This Lewa fly-in safari visits Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, a private conservancy north of Mount Kenya and a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with Mount Kenya. It is famous for its black and white rhinos and its success in protecting them.

Because Lewa is a conservancy, you can enjoy activities not allowed in national parks, such as guided bush walks and night drives.

Why choose this Lewa fly-in safari?

  • Rhinos: some of the best chances in Kenya to see both black and white rhinos.
  • Rare northern species: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe and Beisa oryx.
  • Bush walks: explore on foot with an armed ranger.
  • Night drives: look for aardvarks, bush babies and hunting cats.

Where you stay

Two nights at Lewa Safari Camp, or a similar camp inside the conservancy.

Best time for a Lewa fly-in safari

Lewa is good all year. The dry seasons from June to October and January to March give the easiest game viewing, while the green season brings fewer visitors.

Add Samburu next door on our Samburu fly-in safari, or browse all flight packages. See Kenya Wildlife Service for more on Kenya’s rhino conservation.

How much does the Lewa fly-in safari cost?
