A Kenya safari is the classic African wildlife experience: the Big Five on open savannah, the Great Migration crossing the Mara River, elephants under Mount Kilimanjaro and flamingos lining the Rift Valley lakes. Divulge Adventures is a Nairobi-based safari company, so every trip below is planned and run by our own team, from airport pick-up to your final game drive. All our Kenya safaris are private and can be tailored to your dates, budget and interests.
Kenya’s most famous reserve, known for big cats, huge herds and the Great Migration river crossings. Our 7-Day Luxury Mara River Crossing Safari is timed for the best migration months.
Large elephant herds against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, plus swamps full of birdlife. It pairs well with the Mara on our 6-Day Best of Amboseli & Masai Mara Safari.
Rift Valley lakes with black and white rhino, Rothschild’s giraffe, flamingos, boat rides among hippos and walking safaris on Crescent Island. Cycle through Hell’s Gate and continue to the Mara on our 4-Day Hell’s Gate, Naivasha, Nakuru & Masai Mara Safari.
The wild north is home to the Special Five: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk and beisa oryx. Explore them on our 7 Day Special Five Ol Pejeta, Meru and Samburu Safari.
Private conservancies with excellent rhino viewing and the chance to track Laikipia’s black leopard. See the 5 Day Black Leopard and Rhino Photography Safari, the 7 Day Best of Solio, Naivasha and Masai Mara Triangle or the 11 Day Kenya Special Five and Big Five.
Kenya’s largest wilderness, famous for red elephants, Mzima Springs and lava flows. Easy to reach from the coast on our 2 Days Tsavo West from Diani trip.
The only national park bordering a capital city, with lion, rhino and giraffe against the skyline. Perfect for a layover on our Nairobi National Park Half Day Safari.
Africa’s second-highest mountain, with glacial lakes, giant lobelias and a sunrise summit at Point Lenana. Climb it on our 4 Days Mt Kenya Sirimon-Chogoria Route or the 5-Day Sirimon to Chogoria Traverse, and combine it with a safari afterwards.
The price of a Kenya safari depends on the season, the number of travellers, your choice of lodges and how many days you spend in the parks. As a guide:

Five to seven days is ideal for a first Kenya safari, giving you time for the Masai Mara plus one or two other parks such as Amboseli or Lake Nakuru. If you have only a day or two, Nairobi National Park or a short Masai Mara trip works well.
The herds are usually in the Masai Mara from July to October, with Mara River crossings most common from August to September. Exact timing depends on the rains each year.
Yes. Kenya’s parks and reserves are well-established tourist areas, and on a guided safari you travel with an experienced driver-guide who follows park rules and keeps a safe distance from wildlife.
Most visitors must apply online for a Kenya Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) before travelling. Entry rules can change, so check the official requirements for your nationality before booking flights.
Requirements depend on where you are travelling from. See our yellow fever requirements for Kenya and Tanzania and speak to a travel clinic about malaria protection.
Yes. Many guests combine the Masai Mara with the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, or finish with a few days in Diani or Zanzibar. See our 12 Days Magical Kenya & Tanzania Safari for an example.
