This 7 days Rwanda primate safari gives you time to enjoy every highlight without rushing. In Nyungwe Forest National Park, you will track chimpanzees at dawn, walk the canopy bridge and pick tea on emerald hillsides.

Then you will travel north to Volcanoes National Park for your Rwanda primate safari mountain gorilla trek, a cultural afternoon with the Gorilla Guardians, a golden monkey trek and a peaceful canoe trip on the Mukungwa River. Arrival in Kigali

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be met by your Divulge Adventures representative for meet, greet and safari briefing about your 7-day Rwanda primate safari. Transfer to your hotel to check in and relax. Dinner and overnight at Park Inn by Radisson Kigali | Hotel Chez Lando

Day 02 :

Kigali City Tour - Nyanza - Nyungwe Forest

After breakfast, enjoy a Kigali city tour including the Kigali Genocide Memorial, marking the start of your Rwanda primate safari. Then drive southwest through terraced hills, stopping at the King's Palace Museum in Nyanza, with lunch en route. Arrive at Nyungwe in the late afternoon. Day 03 :

Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walk

Rise early with a packed breakfast and set out on your chimpanzee trek as part of your Rwanda primate safari, spending one hour with a habituated community. Look out for other primates and forest birds along the way. Return to the lodge for lunch, then walk the canopy walkway in the afternoon for spectacular treetop views. Tea Plantation - Musanze

Day 05 :

Mountain Gorilla Trekking and Gorilla Guardians Village

After an early breakfast, drive to the Kinigi park headquarters for the 7:00 AM briefing. Trek into the forest and spend about one hour with a mountain gorilla family the best part of your Rwanda primate safari. Day 06 :

Golden Monkey Trekking and Mukungwa River Canoeing

After breakfast, set out on your golden monkey trek and spend about one hour with the troop in the bamboo forest. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing canoe trip on the Mukungwa River near Musanze, gliding past farms, birdlife and village life. Return to the lodge for your last evening near the volcanoes. Day 07 :

Musanze - Kigali (Departure)
