Clubs & Societies Safaris

Club safaris for photography, birding, Rotary, alumni, faith, hiking and running groups. Private, tailor-made trips across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Namibia and Botswana.

Club Safaris Built Around Your Passion

Club safaris bring members together around a shared interest, set against Africa’s greatest wildlife spectacles. Photography clubs come for big cats and golden light, birding societies for the region’s remarkable variety of species, and service clubs for the chance to combine a safari with time in local communities. Whatever brings your members together, we shape the trip around it.

All of our club safaris are private. Your members share their own vehicles and guides, and the itinerary follows your club’s interests rather than a fixed tour. Organisers get one point of contact, members can pay separately, and for every 6 paying travellers the 7th place is free, usually for the organiser.

Photography Club Safaris

Photography trips are timed for the best light and the best action. We plan long game drives at dawn and dusk, choose vehicles with pop-up roofs or open sides for clear shooting, and keep vehicle numbers comfortable so everyone has room for their gear.

Favourite destinations include the Masai Mara during the Great Migration, Amboseli with elephants beneath Kilimanjaro, and Samburu for species found only in northern Kenya.

Golden-Hour Drives

Out early and back late for the best light.

Room for Gear

Comfortable seating and a clear view for every member.

Expert Guides

Guides who understand light, angles and animal behaviour.

Big Cat Action

Lions, leopards and cheetahs in Africa's top reserves.

Birding & Conservation Societies

East Africa is a birder’s paradise. Kenya alone has recorded more than 1,100 bird species, from flamingos on the Rift Valley lakes to forest specialists in Kakamega. We plan birding trips around the best habitats and seasons, with guides who know the calls and the markings.

Conservation societies can visit community conservancies, rhino sanctuaries and research projects to see how wildlife and local communities live side by side. For local birding news, Nature Kenya is a great resource.

Birding Hotspots

Lake Baringo, Naivasha, Kakamega and the Mara.

Conservancy Visits

See community conservation and rhino projects up close.

Specialist Guides

Guides with sharp eyes and ears for birds.

Seasonal Timing

Migrant birds arrive from Europe from about November to April.

Rotary, Alumni & Faith Groups

Service clubs such as Rotary and Lions often combine a safari with a visit to a community project, school or conservation initiative. Alumni associations use a safari as a reunion with a difference, and church and faith groups travel together for fellowship, reflection and shared wonder at the natural world.

Hiking and running clubs can add a climb of Mount Kenya or Kilimanjaro, or join the famous Lewa Safari Marathon in northern Kenya.

Community Visits

Time with local schools and community projects.

Alumni Reunions

A reunion your classmates will talk about for years.

Faith Group Travel

Fellowship and reflection in Africa's wild places.

Hiking & Running

Mount Kenya, Kilimanjaro and the Lewa Safari Marathon.
