Day by Day
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a professional safari representative from Divulge Adventure Safaris who will assist you with your transfer to your hotel in either Kampala or Entebbe depending on your preference and arrival time. The drive takes approximately 10 minutes in Entebbe or about 45–60 minutes to Kampala
After check-in, you will have time to relax from your jetlag. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner at your hotel and settle into your first night in Uganda in preparation for your safari adventure the following day. Dinner and overnight at Cassia Lodge.
After an early breakfast at around 8:00 am, you will be picked up by your safari driver-guide and begin your scenic journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive takes approximately 7–8 hours and offers a beautiful introduction to Uganda’s landscapes.
Your first stop will be at the iconic Uganda Equator Line where you will take memorable photos standing in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres and learn about this unique geographical landmark. You will then continue your journey with a lunch stop in Mbarara, where you will enjoy a delicious meal and have a chance to taste fresh local fruits from roadside markets.
After lunch, the journey continues through rolling savannahs and rural countryside until you reach Bunyaruguru, where you will pause to enjoy breathtaking views of the crater lakes and watch a beautiful African sunset over the landscape. You will then proceed into Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the evening for a short sunset game drive as you head to your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Ihamba Lakeside Safari Lodge
Your day begins early with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Uganda. This area is known for its high concentration of predators and grazing animals, offering excellent chances to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, waterbucks, and a variety of bird species.
After approximately four hours of game viewing, you will return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, you will head out for a boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George.
The cruise offers some of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, including large pods of hippos, bathing elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and an incredible variety of bird species such as African fish eagles, pelicans, and kingfishers. It is also a great opportunity for photography and relaxation as you enjoy the calm waters of the channel.
Optional evening activities may include a guided nature walk with a park ranger depending on time and lodge arrangement. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Accommodation remains Ihamba Lakeside Safari Lodge
After a relaxed breakfast at around 8:30 am, you will check out and begin your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe. The drive takes approximately 7–8 hours, offering one last opportunity to enjoy Uganda’s beautiful countryside.
You will stop in Mbarara for lunch and refreshments before continuing your journey. Along the way, you will make another stop at the Uganda Equator Line where you can shop for souvenirs, take photos, and enjoy a final moment at one of Uganda’s most famous landmarks.
Afterward, you will continue to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or be dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable Queen Elizabeth National Park wildlife safari experience.
