Overview

This Classic Wildlife Northern Tanzania Safari expedition begins with an adventure-filled visit to the world-renowned Northern Circuit of Tanzania. The safari starts from Tarangire National Park to marvel at its massive herds of elephants and towering baobab trees before heading north to the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park. After witnessing the breathtaking wildlife spectacles, tracking the Big Five, and exploring the vast savannah, the journey continues to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater for an immersive game-viewing experience inside a collapsed volcanic caldera. The safari reaches its peak with a search for the endangered black rhino and unique predator-prey interactions within this self-contained ecosystem, finally concluding with a scenic drive back for departure.

Day 01 :

Northern Tanzania safari - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast ,begin your Northern Tanzania safari with a drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunches for a day of game drive .
This Park is located 120km southwest of Arusha. In this astonishing park, expect to see substantial herds of Elephants gathering alongside the Tarangire River along with many other animal species e.g. Wildebeest, Lions, Buffaloes, Zebras and prolific birds. In the evening drive for dinner and overnight at Omega view Hotel

Day 02 :

Tarangire- Serengeti National Park

After breakfast begin your Northern Tanzania safari with a drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority a designated the UNESCO World Heritage. On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge (optional) where anthropologists Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey made significant discoveries contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park game drive en route arriving in time for dinner and overnight at Moyo Tented Camp

Day 03 :

Serengeti Full Day- The Ultimate Northern Tanzania safari Experience

Early morning game drive to see also nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning sunrise followed by full day Serengeti National Park tour putting you in a position to see lots of the animals. Serengeti in Maasai meaning the endless plain; 14763sq km in size is the home to many animals including Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Wildebeests, Zebras, Leopards, Cheetahs, Warthogs, Hyenas plus a lots of bird life. The great migration is taking place around Serengeti and during that particular time millions of Wildebeests, Zebras, Thompson’s Gazelles, Grants Gazelle, Elands and Impalas are mingling together followed by predators. Day 04 :

Serengeti Full Day-Northern Tanzania safari

After breakfast, another full day game drive in Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Moyo Tented Camp Serengeti

Day 05 :

Central Serengeti- Ngorongoro

After breakfast at the lodge set off to the Northern Tanzania safari for a morning game drive. After lunch proceed to Ngorongoro game drive en route arriving in time for dinner and overnight at Rhino lodge inside Ngoro Ngoro conservation Area.

Day 06 :

Ngorongoro Crater- Arusha

After breakfast you will descend into the crater for a wonderful crater tour with a picnic lunch inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world a designated UNESCO World Heritage. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck, the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Then late afternoon drives back to Arusha for Zanzibar flight .
