What to expect on the 8 day Serengeti and Zanzibar safari
Day 1 starts at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your driver-guide meets you for the 1-hour transfer to Arusha and a free afternoon. Dinner and the night are at Melia Arusha. On day 2 you transfer to Arusha Airport for the flight to the Serengeti, game drive on the way to your lodge and head out again in the afternoon.
Days 3 and 4 are full Serengeti days with morning and afternoon game drives, as your guide tracks the herds and predators. All three Serengeti nights are at Melia Serengeti Lodge with dinner.
On day 5 you fly from the Serengeti airstrip to Zanzibar and transfer to Melia Zanzibar for an afternoon on the beach. Days 6 and 7 are free at the resort, and day 8 is your departure from Zanzibar.
