Day 01 :

Arrival – Welcome to the Pearl of Africa

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly received by a professional driver-guide who will brief you about your safari and assist with your transfer to either Kampala or Entebbe depending on your accommodation choice. The drive takes approximately 10 minutes in Entebbe or around 45–60 minutes to Kampala.

After check-in at your hotel, you will have time to rest and recover from your journey. In the evening, you will enjoy a welcome dinner featuring both local Ugandan cuisine and international dishes as you settle into your safari experience in the Pearl of Africa.

Overnight stay will be at Kampala Serena Hotel.

Day 02 :

Entebbe/Kampala- Murchison Falls National Park

After an early breakfast around 7:00 am, you will begin your chimpanzee trekking and wildlife safari journey to Murchison Falls National Park, a drive of approximately 4–6 hours . Along the way, you will make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can track white rhinos on foot in their natural habitat.

After the rhino trekking experience, you will enjoy lunch in Masindi town before continuing your drive into the park. Upon arrival, you will head straight to the iconic top of the falls where you will witness the powerful River Nile forcing itself through a narrow gorge, creating one of the most dramatic waterfalls in Africa.

Later, you will proceed to your lodge for check-in, dinner, and overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge .

Day 03 :

Murchison Falls National Park- Nile Boat Cruise

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will set off for the chimpanzee trekking and wildlife safari for a game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, where the savannah comes alive with wildlife activity. You may encounter elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and various antelope species as well as a rich variety of birdlife.

After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you will head out for a boat cruise along the River Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls. During the cruise, you will see large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and numerous water birds including African fish eagles and kingfishers. The boat brings you close to the dramatic point where the Nile crashes down into the gorge, offering excellent photography opportunities.

After the cruise, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge

Day 04 :

Nile Boat Cruise-Kibale National Park

After a relaxed breakfast, you will start your journey from Murchison Falls toward Kibale National Park, a scenic drive of approximately 5–6 hours. You will make en-route stops and enjoy lunch along the way as you transition from savannah landscapes to lush green forest environments.

Upon arrival in Kibale, you will check in at your lodge and spend the evening relaxing in preparation for chimpanzee trekking and wildlife safari the following day.

Day 05 :

Kibale National Park- Chimpanzee Trekking

After breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters in Kibale National Park for a briefing on trekking rules and chimpanzee behavior before entering the forest. You will then embark on an exciting chimpanzee trekking and wildlife safari trek in search of habituated chimpanzees, a journey that may take between 2–4 hours depending on their movement.

Once located, you will spend one hour observing them as they interact, feed, play, and move through the forest canopy. Along the way, you may also encounter other primates such as vervet monkeys, olive baboons, red colobus monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabeys.

After returning to the lodge for lunch and rest, you will later visit the famous Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk. This community-managed sanctuary is home to over 130 bird species and several primates including colobus monkeys and red-tailed monkeys. The walk also supports local community projects, making it both a wildlife and cultural experience .

Day 06 :

Kyaninga -Kampala / Entebbe

After a relaxed breakfast at around 7:30 am, you will begin your journey back to Kampala and later to Entebbe International Airport. The drive takes approximately 5–6 hours depending on traffic and stops along the way.

You will enjoy an en-route lunch and make stops for souvenir shopping, especially at craft markets where you can purchase handmade African items as souvenirs of your safari experience. You will then continue to the airport for your departure flight or drop-off at your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable chimpanzee trekking and wildlife safari Uganda adventure.
